Over the past year I’ve had the great privilege of being able to expand my thinking. There’s many times even I’m in shock at how esoteric I can get. You gotta remember I used to think a lot of this stuff I write about was horsecr*p for most of my life. I’ve also been given the talent of being able to bring some of the esoteric things I think about into a realistic form. However, with this post I’m worried I might not be able to. You are either...

There are a lot of people, including myself, who really enjoy seeing people be happy. For the longest time I used to always want to listen to their problems, fix them, and show them the path to happiness. It really never worked. You see, happiness is a choice. It needs to be fully chosen in order to be experienced. While you can’t force anyone to be happy, it is possible to positively influence somebody to be happy. To inspire them to get that intense energy that would...

The hardest part about being a passionate leader is the amount of work that goes into it. Now I don’t mean that “OMG I have to work” type work, but rather I use the word from a literal sense; physical exertion that takes up energy. Now that I’ve tapped in to my right brain my mind flows with amazing ideas, and the biggest task of all becomes bringing them to life. From blog posts, to #GameOn Leadership business development, to marketing ideas, to...

Training is one of the most important parts of any development, whether it be professional or personal! Training provides new knowledge that expand our horizons and allow us to see what may have been unseen otherwise, or to reinforce knowledge we currently hold. Without training there is no growth, and without growth we cease to live. Life = learning and learning is a part of training. There’s a cripple to training though, and it’s caused by too much classroom...

This past Monday I had the pleasure of speaking at the EDGE Conference 2012 hosted by Agincourt Collegiate. The central purposes of the Conference for 2012 was to revolve around enhancing the practical experience and networks of the next generation of business leaders. Every performer has their stage, and the this was mine… First of all it was a rush being up on stage again. Last time I can remember doing so, I was wearing a purple dress in a high school play....

A couple of days ago I talked about the creation process, where you use everything to create something you want that caters to the wants of others, that’s never been created before. I’m almost positive that some of you who saw ‘entrepreneurship’ cringed at the fact of starting something new. This post is dedicated to showing you that the creation process can happen in 2 different ways: 1) Create new systems  2) Innovate within systems 1) Create new...

When we were little the equation “life = play” was soooo true! I mean common, you’d come home from school, do an hour of homework, and spend the rest of the day playing outside or on video games. Oh the life! Then when we hit college/university this equation became a bunch of crock. Play? PLAY? When you’re trying to figure out the derivatives involved in making a plane fly… is not play! Life can’t be play… or can it? Perhaps life is...

Well if I was writing this a year ago, I sure hope I wrote that you shouldn’t of come to me. I was one of the biggest chicken’s alive (ok a bit extravagant but still). I used to avoid any form of conflict, pimp off difficult situations to those I worked with (sorry JT), and worst of all lied about how confident I was in myself and what I did. I was all about the show, not so much the substance. Why am I telling you all this? Because it’s the exact reason...

We’re all insecure in some way, it’s just part of human nature. I’ve come to find that our insecurities lie in one of 2 areas: 1) Physical (i.e. I’m too fat, skinny, tall, short, etc.) 2) Situation (i.e. I’m not where I should be in my career, I don’t have enough money, I’m not married yet, etc.)  I basically see insecurities as not accepting something as it is. For example, my whole life I’ve been insecure about being...

There is a good chance this post may be ‘weird’ for some people, so please proceed with caution. If you are not a fan of big dreams, ambitious goals, and esoteric craziness I advise you to close this tab immediately. Over the past 5 months I’ve been getting a lot of incredibly incredible thoughts and ideas. Often times, they come out of nowhere and even make me think, “This is crazy, where the heck did it come from?” #GameOn Leadership was born...
