“We Need to get there… NOW!”
That’s usually what you’ll hear around this time as people begin ‘rushing’ TIFF movies. You see, for a select few tickets have been purchased for many of the movies… for us others, we join the rush line and hope that those people with tickets don’t show up! Once they don’t, we purchase tickets and take their seats… talk about an efficient revenue stream eh!

It’s usually very difficult to find times when good and fun coincide. Think about it… Good Grades? Comes from studying = not fun. A Good Meal? Not so much fun paying the bill at the end. Good Morning? Only if you’re the only one that enjoys waking up on Monday mornings.

So after what’s seemed like eternity, I finally decided to check out a baseball game! I figured they’re the one team that’s hot right now, and well might just be the only Toronto team to have a playoff spot in 2010 (Unbelievable.. Believe it!)
The craziest part of the night was seeing a SOLD OUT SKYDOME!!! Man the last time that happened hadddd to be back in 1992, right? Common you can’t honestly tell me close to 50,000 people have checked out the Jays since then!

There are fundraisers and then there are fundCHANGERS.
What’s the difference?
Well for one, fundraising usually goes in one direction. It is raising money to give to a good cause and help benefit the work they do. They’re great, but I struggle with the whole ‘patronizing’ aspect of them as well as the ‘give and forget’ problem it usually creates.
