The Guy
On a grand scale, Ryan’s vision is a world that works. What he means by this is a world where everyone has the choice to discover their passion, live their passion, and ut their passion towards a purpose that creates a better world.
His mission in life is currently to empower students and young professionals to discover their passion in life and put it towards a purpose. To persist against all odds in an effort to bring to life their vision for the world. While most people focus on actually winning, Ryan believes it’s about playing to win. It’s about leaving behind a legacy, one which is created through growth and contribution.
Ryan lives by the motto, “Dream. Explore. Discover. Inspire.”
His Philosophy
While still evolving, Ryan is beginning to put together a philosophy on life. He makes it very clear his philosophy is by no means a way to separate his thoughts from other beliefs, but rather create a new perspective on what can be done to make the world work.

My Story
I was reading “My Story” page I used to have and realized it wasn’t really me. It was great at showcasing what I’m good at, but there’s more to that. Just like every one of you reading this, the journey up until today has not been perfect, and it’s in those imperfections that help me find the real me. Confused? Good. It was for me at first too. See what I mean by a bumpy road. Either way, here’s my story.
Bullied for 6 years in my youth, I began to believe that I didn’t belong. That I didn’t fit into this world, and worst of all that something was wrong with me. To cope with this, I developed another belief that in order to fit in I had to be right, and prove others wrong. Makes sense, if you don’t feel like you fit in … prove that you do. Ever since that day I started to create a world in which I was right, and those around me were wrong. To me, that had become the only way that I could prove to others that I did fit in. That I did belong.
As you can imagine jobs broke down, relationships didn’t work (go figure, when has any relationship worked when the guy tries to be right! lol), and well life wasn’t… well wasn’t fulfilling. I felt like I was just waking up to make it through the day and back to sleep. No purpose, no meaning. Tons of stress in maintaining my need to ‘look good’ and ‘be right’. Was my past a total downer? Absolutely not! I had many moment of passion, excitement, fun, energy, and all the stuff we all want. The problem wasn’t that it wasn’t there, the problem was that it wasn’t consistent. It was like this constant roller coaster with moments of extreme passion and curiosity coupled with moments of utter fear and anxiety. I knew there was a great guy in me, I just couldn’t keep it showing all the time.
In 2011 my life changed. After sceptically enrolling into a personal development/leadership course (Landmark Education) I began to see my life and myself from a different perspective. I began to see the REAL me, and what was blocking it from shining day in and day out. Put simply, each and every one of us deals with an internal Transformers or Star Wars movie. Bad vs. Good. Hate vs. Love. Ego vs. Passion. Until we realize this we have no idea how to control ourselves. We emotionally react to a situation and wonder why nothing turns out the way it should. In my case I would unleash my ego (“I’m right, your wrong” attitude) not even knowing that it’s controlling my life and holding me back from being wrong.. learning.. understanding… growing. You can’t fix what you don’t know what’s broken, and for the first time in my life I finally see what’s broken. I’m not bad nor wrong for having broken areas, but just like a typical chair can’t stand without 4 legs, I need to be bable to fix those areas to operate as designed. To live with passion, I must constantly learn how to keep it alive within me. That’s the struggle with life. That’s the meaning that means something.
My life is a story, and it’s taken on a whole new chapter. This blog is a gathering of my thoughts, my experiences, and my attempts to contribute to the world in an empowering manner. Although I am only 1, I will do whatever it takes to make a difference to as many people as possible. After all, all we ever take when we leave is the difference we leave behind.

#GameOn Leadership Coaching helps students and young professionals market themselves towards careers they’re passionate about.
So you want a career you love?
Question is, what are you doing to get it?
The only way to find a career you love is to figure out what you’re passionate about, and pursue that passion.
The problem is most young professionals either don’t know what they’re passionate about, or don’t know how to showcase themselves in-line with their passion. They struggle to get a job by showcasing what they have, instead of landing a career by showcasing what they offer .
Our workshop series is designed to help you discover what you’re passionate about and how to create a lifestyle that revolves around this passion. Using the power of ‘game mechanics’ we’ve turned leadership into a game, making it fun and engaging to play. You get to choose how the game looks and how you wish to play it, and we’ll give you the tools and support necessary to win in the end!
So if you’re ready to get your #GameOn, register for Workshop #1!
Remember, as with everything in life, you get what you play for...
