Well now that I have your attention… lol .. jks jks. The title wasn’t put there to dupe you or anything, this post really is going to talk about mind sex. Don’t worry nothing graphic, just using it as an analogy.
Remember when you were a kid, you had sooooo many questions! We were “Curious George’s” running around, and kids today still are. We loved asking questions to make sense of, and understand the world. I mean think about it: we come out of a stomach, open our eyes, see a whole bunch of stuff around us, have no idea what the heck it is, and well jump into learning mode to help us make sense of it all.
So how do we learn?
Well let’s use the analogy of baby making (see image below). You have the egg, which is all the questions we have.
Then well you have the sperm which are “Beliefs”. Where do these beliefs come from? Well all around us, through all our senses. When we’re young we don’t have many beliefs because we’re trying to shape them. So we take all out information from around us. Those beliefs penetrate our question and the strongest ones makes us believe that belief is the answer.
As an example, when I was young I would always ask myself sort of unconsciously, “What am I worth?” and then being surrounded by bullying I created my perspective created the belief “Nothing, nobody likes me.” Then I asked myself “How can I be liked?” and seeing all the people around me getting girls and being on sports teams, I created the belief that I had to have things to prove I fit in. Notice how my questions were being answered by everything around me. My perspectives were translating into beliefs.
A practical example is when a kid puts their hand over fire and gets burnt. They asked the question “What’s this?” and then associate the belief “It hurts.” They then associate what they see with that belief. Therefore, don’t play with fire or you’re going to get burned.
What then happens is those eggs hatch and become living layers of your mind where you filter everything through. So a girl turns me down, and I reinforce the belief that I’m worth nothing. Or I don’t get picked for the basketball team and reinforce the belief that people won’t like me. Then I got an acting gig and said “woo hoo people will like me” and so I would start to brag about it and have a big ego about just because I THOUGHT I would be liked if everyone knew.
As you get older these beliefs become stronger and stronger because we keep feeding them. It’s in our nature to reinforce our beliefs because our ego always wants us to be ‘right’. As we feed them, they become stronger. These strong beliefs then start to penetrate other minds because of their strength (just like with sperm, only the strong ones make it to the egg).
Want to see how important this is in society… if a kid grows up surrounded by violence and abuse, guess what his beliefs will be? You got it… this my friends is what we refer to as brainwashing. It’s when beliefs penetrate the questions we ask and take life.
Ever wonder why child soldiers go from innocent to ruthless… well guess who’s feeding them beliefs.
If you understand this concept you really can make some drastic changes for yourself. You can start to look at your beliefs and how they are limiting you. Start finding out where they cam from? Start finding out how to create new ones. Remember the living belief layer will die if you don’t feed it and feed another one that contradicts it.
For example, for 8 months now I’ve been building the belief that I am worth something and that I do have a voice to share. I’ve built a new belief that I have nothing to prove to anyone, except to myself.
Remember there are no right or wrong beliefs.. we live in a world of perception. We have the ULTIMATE choice on what beliefs we choose to run our lives.
Once you start figuring out your current family of beliefs you, you can start to add/remove/edit them to help them work in your favour and really propel you in life. Today being family day, I don’t think there’s a better time to get started. Start breeding a new family of beliefs that make a positive difference.

Imagine you could change the world with 2 words. Well you can, and it's simply your name. Your name not only defines you, but it represents YOUR thoughts and interests... thoughts that lead to actions, and interests that drive passion... it's these very elements that shape the world we see today. We are all part of this; each and every one of us in our own unique way. What you are about to read is a collection of my thoughts and interests... my attempts to change the world...
